Samuel grew up in North Carolina and is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After completion of his undergraduate studies in economics and psychology, Samuel attended Campbell University Norman A. Wiggins School of law to obtain his Juris Doctor.

Prior to joining the firm, Samuel practiced primarily in the areas of real estate law and estate planning. Through helping families and individuals create their estate plan, Samuel developed his interest and passion in this area of law.  At Hemphill Gelder, P.C., he focuses his practice on Estate Planning.

Samuel lives in Raleigh, NC, with his wife Makenna and their dog, Max. Outside of work, Samuel enjoys exploring the triangle’s greenways, attending Tarheel basketball and football games, and trying new restaurants and breweries in Raleigh.
