Juan Sosa

Juan Sosa is a graduate of Wake Forest School of Law and Belmont University. He began his legal career at a boutique litigation firm in Greensboro, NC. In 2015, Juan lost his father unexpectedly and experienced first-hand the struggles that can be avoided by executing a proper estate plan. In 2018, Juan moved back to Raleigh to be closer to family and began working in attorney malpractice insurance.

After losing his beloved mother-in-law to brain cancer in early 2023, Juan developed a passion for estate and end-of-life planning. This led him to join Hemphill Gelder, P.C. where his mission is to give families the gift of a grieving process free of the emotional stress caused by losing a loved one without a proper plan in place.

Juan is married and the proud father of a baseball-obsessed son and dog-loving little girl. After hours, you will find him coaching baseball or untangling fly fishing line on a river somewhere in the mountains.
