COVID-19 Policy
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak we have implemented several changes to ensure the health and safety of our clients and staff. Pursuant to the Executive Orders issued by Governor Cooper since March 27, 2020, legal services are considered an Essential service and we remain open for business. Since mid-March we have transitioned to conducting most of our client appointments via video or teleconference. Clients can opt to come to one of our offices for a scheduled “drive up” signing and execution of documents, thereby allowing clients to remain in their vehicle during the appointment. On May 4, 2020, North Carolina authorized the use of temporary emergency video notarization of documents which now allows us to conduct document signings through video-conference until August 1, 2020. This gives clients the option to do the entire appointment remotely.
In a further effort to maintain safe procedures, many of our staff are working remotely. Therefore, please call to schedule your arrival prior to your visit. If you have exhibited any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19, including but not limited to, coughing, fever, or shortness of breath, please call us to reschedule.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to work on finding the safest ways to serve you. We appreciate your support.
