Daniel Choyce is an associate attorney with Hemphill Gelder, P.C. in Wilmington, North Carolina. Prior to joining Hemphill Gelder, Dan worked with Legal Aid in Greensboro, the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Winston-Salem, and the Sierra Club of North Carolina in Raleigh. Dan has also worked on litigation projects and assisted in the publication of an article discussing modern legal issues facing the LGBTQ community in estate planning with firms in Wilmington.
Dan is a 2017 graduate from the Wake Forest University School of Law and a 2014 summa cum laude graduate from Rowan University. While at Wake Forest, Dan was a student attorney with The Wake Forest Elder Law Clinic, Executive Online Editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy, and the president of the Health Law and Policy Program.
Dan was collegiate-level swimmer and an Eagle Scout, and he enjoys rowing on the Cape Fear River in his spare time.
